March, its almost over??

Where did the month go? We are already making our way to April? I feel like I didn't even get to enjoy March this year with all the stinking rain we have had. Which by the way, I hate rain and I have never liked it... Not only  does it make my pants all wet when I walk outside, but if I choose to wear my hair straight, I cannot go outside or it slowly starts curling up around my face. The joys of natural curls :) But really, this month has flown by! I have had a pretty lucky month if I do say so myself, got a new/used couch and that's been the highlight of the month for me. I figure we really need a huge couch that takes up the whole room since its mostly used for watching TV and playing on the floor. (Oh and to match our huge TV that we have for sports)
ISN'T IT AWESOME??
Our whole family can lay down on it, and still have room. It just makes me so happy. It was my birthday present from Brett. Now I need to ditch those ugly red pillows and get some fun colorful ones with cute patterns on them to add some flare! :) Gotta spice up the tan plain sofa :)

Other than getting a new couch, a lot has been going on. We are getting our house painted (when it stops raining..) and getting a fence to keep the kids in the yard, I am so excited. All my friends and their kids can come play in the back yard with us this summer :) We have a little (BIG-ish) kids pool, its funnnn!!! I am hoping to plant some flowers and add some color to our yard this year... but honestly, I don't like gardening and doing all that, but I am going to try! If anyone has tips, please share!

Well basically that was just a brag session of how lucky I am to have a cool couch! I just wanted to share how happy I am about where my life is going at this point! I am so blessed and I couldn't be more happy about it. I have the best family and friends in my life. Love you ALL!

Bye Bye Cribs...

Lets just have a moment of honesty. I cried like a baby about my kids getting out of the cribs and getting in twin size beds. Well a mattress on the floor... I mean this is a HUGE step in their life, at least I think so. I think they were just born yesterday and today they are sleeping in beds instead of cribs? It doesn't seem right. Since they were born and I have been stressed about everything they do that is naughty or whatever, and waiting for the next stage to get here to make things easier, my dad has been telling me to not want to rush it and just live in the moment of being their mommy. But I have always wanted the next thing to get here fast, HELLO THEY ARE A HANDFUL X2!! Well it finally hit me what he meant. Of course I am still allowed to have my days when I am at the end of the rope, but I want to enjoy them as much as I can and soak up all the silly things they do, yeah they do naughty things a lot too, but I don't want to dwell on those. They are growing up way too fast! I am trying to learn patience, Brett is probably my best example on how to be patient. I never see him get upset with those little rascals. He is so good to them and it makes me so happy that I have him in my life.

I will post pictures of their WAYYYY CUTE beds soon. We have all their bedding, but we need to order them some beds! Just waiting on a few things to sell and then we can order them. They are adorable and whoever reads this will agree :)

How Piercing!

FINALLY AFTER A WEEK AND TWO DAYS of having sick people in this house. I am happy to say that everyone is feeling back to normal, still some runny noses and coughs, but the worst is over. What a long week, thankfully I lucked out and skipped it this go around.. someone has to take care of the sickies!!! :) Now onto better and brighter things!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE having a little girly girl. Brooklyn is so much fun, don't get me wrong... LOVE LOVE LOVE having my little boy too, but there is something about me being a girl, and having my little girl that makes it special. I think everyone should have a girl!! We just got her ears pierced!! I have been wanting to do it since she was a few months old, but didn't want to make anyone who didn't agree upset, so I waited. Well randomly this week Brett and I were talking about it and we just went to the place and got it done. She did so good, she loves looking at the sparkles in her ears. SO FUN. :) Braxton gets a little jealous that I am not cleaning off his ears 3 times a day so we pretend. Silly guy.I never really knew how much fun I was going to have being a Mom. Its really the best. Feeling so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who works so hard to take care of us and provide for us and lets me have the gift of being a stay at home mom. I always, since I was little; saw myself being a stay at home mom. It was really important to me and I am so blessed to be able to. LOVE YOU BRETT.
