Enjoying the Little Joys in Life

While I was uploading my pictures off my camera, (not planning on writing ANOTHER blog this month) I was looking at all the pictures, and there were some that just made me sit here and realize how many little joys I get to witness every day.

It is the little moments that make motherhood worth all the hard and frustrating times it brings. I am so glad I can look at these pictures and remember how much fun it is to be their mom every day. Best job in the world.
We have had some fun memories already and its only May. One day I am going to show them all the pictures I took of the fun things they got to do so they can remember how lucky they were to be my kids! :) (hahaha)

Really, I just want them to know how much they were loved, and with all the mistakes I make, and will make.. that I did the best I could and have no regrets. These two little people are the biggest blessing in my life. Thank you my dear sweet babies.

May Madness

MAY!! I love May, I love when all the flowers come out and of course my kiddos birthday, and Mothers Day. Just lots of enjoyable things about this beautiful month!

We have had a lot of fun this month so far! We got our swing set all set up by our kids birthday, minus a few little things that still need to go on. We are so blessed to be able to have such a fun "get away" for our kids to play for hours and hours.... and hours. They already have tan lines, I think its cute. Brett has been working a lot lately, he is such a hard worker and I am so happy I have a husband who takes such good care of his family. It means a lot and I just want to tell him every day how proud I am of him for being so wonderful.

For Mothers Day, Brett got me the patio set I wanted, well one we found on craigslist for a smokin deal, and we said, "that can be my Mothers Day present" even though we still would have bought it without that reason, but it makes us feel better to say its for something special. And then I feel special haha. When we bought it, it was a lovely faded green color that looked like the color of my house before we painted it, NO THANK YOU!! I am so over green, so I painted it. I love doing little projects!

Here it is! I painted it black, I think it looks pretty good for a used one, just what we needed!

We also got some other fun things for our back yard for the kid's birthday, we got a fun little playhouse which they love more than I thought they would, so thats a plus. It was from my mom, and we also got a cute little picnic table. Its so cute, from their Grandpa Dave. The kids got other stuff too, like potty chairs and some toys. We are so lucky to have such an amazing family who love my children so much, its so fun.

The kid's turned 2. SERIOUSLY, TWO? I really don't think I am old enough to be the mother of 2 year old twins. I don't know why I feel like that, the past 2 years of my life I have been getting used to being a mom, but 2?? It just seems crazy, I love it. Since it has warmed up and me and the TWO year old twins have been spending all this time outside, I have really enjoyed sitting back and soaking up the best time of my life. Not to mention, I can start working on my tan little by little. ( I don't like to be too hot so I can only tan for a little bit at a time!) But all in all, I know this is going to be the best summer I have ever had, I know more fun ones are to come, but right now this will top the list. I love my life, and love my family. :)
